Being that March is both Women’s History Month and Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month we will begin our program by acknowledging the accomplishments of women with Cerebral Palsy within our society.

Afterward, we will turn our attention to the chapter in my soon-to-be-released book, entitled, “What’s In A Name”?

Over the centuries, society has labeled us, collectively, as crippled, handicapped and now disabled is the dominant word used in defining who we are... or better still, as society, and even many of us see ourselves.

Tune in and participate in what may be our my talked about and controversial topic that we have discussed so far.
