Scott Crawford has spent much of his life devoted to documenting independent culture. He launched Harp Magazine in 2001 and served as its Editor-in-Chief for over 7 years. His 2015 debut feature-length documentary, Salad Days: A Decade of Punk in Washington, DC" was critically-acclaimed, receiving accolades from the NY Times, The Washington Post,Variety, Hollywood Reporter, Billboard, Rolling Stone, MTV, and many more. Crawford’s first book, entitled "Spoke" (Akashic Publishing), was released in February 2017. "Boy Howdy! The Story of Creem Magazine" is Crawford's second full length documentary.
