MARGOT ASTRACHAN had an early career as a photo-journalist and was a protégé of Ansel Adams. Her first story was published when she was 20 years old and a journalism Student at Boston University. She is now a Tony and Drama Desk Award winning Commercial Theatrical Producer. Broadway: The Prom; A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder; The Realistic Joneses; Nice Work If You Can Get It; On a Clear Day You Can See Forever. Tours: Ghost the Musical; national and Australia. Past American Artistic Director of Jermyn Street Theatre and The Kings Head Theatre in London. Graduate of the Commercial Theater Institute and member of The Broadway League. Board Chair: The Billy Rose Theatre Committee of the Library for The Performing Arts, Past Chair of The American Friends of the London Philharmonic Orchestra. Board member: The Episcopal Actors Guild (EAG), Alumni and Friends of LaGuardia High School for the Arts, Rosie’s Theater Kids, The Transport Group. Upcoming Productions: Radio Galaxy UK:Birmingham Rep/ London; Diana- opening next fall on Broadway at the Longacre Theater has been filmed in a live capture for Netflix and will air this spring.
