Danny Whitman

Danny has serves as Director of Development for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS since 2009. He first volunteered with Broadway Cares in the mid-1990s after witnessing an audience appeal when attending The Will Rogers Follies at the legendary Palace Theatre. As a musical theatre actor performing in national touring productions and regional theatre, Danny began coordinating Broadway Cares fundraising and appeals during subsequent acting jobs, and volunteering for Broadway Cares events when he was in New York City between jobs. In addition to overseeing fundraising efforts, Danny serves as producer for Broadway Backwards, which he co-created in 2006.

 

Robert Bartley
Robert directed the hit Off-Broadway premiere of Bedbugs - The Musical, which garnered a rave from The New York Times and was nominated for an Innovative Theatre Award as Best Musical. He also directed the New York Off-Broadway premiere of Jim Brochu’s Character Man (Urban Stages) which was nominated for the 2014 Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for Outstanding Solo Performance, and productions of Character Man across the country at Barrington Stage Company, Stage Door Theatre, American Theater Group and Stages in Houston.
