Austin is the founder of Knit the Rainbow, Inc. and works as a diversity, equity, and inclusion professional; activist; and professional actor. Austin is extremely passionate about social justice and civil rights, specifically within the LGBTQ+ and Black communities. He received his BA in Politics from NYU and his Master of Public Administration from the University of Central Florida. In addition, Austin has worked on several progressive political campaigns and in the offices of elected officials in NYC as a Community Liaison.
