In celebration of the centennial of Judy Garland’s birth, The Ebell in LA premiered “Get Happy! 100 Years of Judy Garland, The Exhibit” Curated by Scott Hedley and co-produced by John Thomas Co-Curator from The Gene London Cinema Collection. The “Get Happy!” exhibit highlighted components from her most beloved role as Dorothy Gale in The Wizard of Oz, (for which she won a special Academy Award) through to what many historians consider her pinnacle performance in A Star Is Born. A dozen of Judy Garland’s costumes (including never before seen costumes from The Wizard of Oz), colorful three sheet movie posters, rare photographs, studio documents and personal letters. It is altogether a unique and once-in-a-lifetime immersive tribute to the life and career of Judy Garland we are privileged and eager to share with you in this special online presentation. Scott Hedley is a passionate collector of cinema artifacts. He is considered one of the world's foremost collectors of Judy Garland costumes and memorabilia.
