At first, Ryan was unswayed by the lure of show business and considered a career in law enforcement. Johnny Ray Miller, a native of Canton, Ohio, has been an aficionado of the Partridge Family television program and their recorded music from the show's beginnings. Miller is a concert and theatre producer, actor and director.
