KEEPING AFRICAN AMERICAN MEN ALIVE and UPLIFTED – THE K.A.M.A.U. PROJECT

After learning of her 17 year old nephew being killed by another youngster of 18 years, our Expert Guest Fatimah Jewel Chandler decided it was surely time to take action. She has single-handedly created The K.A.M.A.U. Project dedicated to improving youth violence by mentoring. Frederick Douglas says ‘It is better to build strong children than to repair broken men.”

Fatimah proclaims it takes a village to raise a child and today we seldom can find the village. Our children are being affected by the violence in music and the other media sources.

The mentoring program she has designed brings Real Men together to teach boys how to become real men. A woman cannot teach this lesson.
