 Like the nursery rhyme ’Sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me… names do harm, they affect our very core. Our souls ache with a buildup of pain from being called out of our names, as others use negative words and remarks to define our worth. Like bricks being stacked on top of us, we carry the burden of the unkind names, the shame and hurt.
