Our guest:  Felicha Jones

Felicha Jones is a wife, mother, grandmother and the owner of Smart Scholars Academy. Felicha has recently founded the nonprofit organization to help children. Smart Scholars focuses on early childhood learning in low income/poverty households, she has the desire to reach every child that experience difficulty learning in the classroom, or is demonstrating behavioral problems.

Her prior experience was in Oil and Gas where she oversaw numerous projects within various Oil and Gas Companies for 15 years, then she also opened a home-daycare center where she has taken her love of educating children to a whole new level.
Felicha also provides her passion to help children know and understand what their dreams are at an early age.

Her goal is to see children get a good education as well as to ensure the parents understanding of meeting their children’s goals.
Felicha aspires to be a role model and confidant friend and she is a part of the community in Houston, because naturally she is helping making a difference in the lives of citizens, parents, children and stakeholders of Houston.
