Hello everyone, I am Leonna Abraham Brandao, Host for Blog Talk Radio/ Shedding Light.

We have back with us today, Hakim Ali, Board Member and Advocate from Reconstruction, Inc, Founded by William Goldsby. Reconstruction, Inc,  takes its name from the Reconstruction period of the U.S. when African Americans made major social progress after slavery was legally abolished. 

To reiterate my statement from the last interview with Hakim, is that he has been a serious member of Reconstruction, Inc. Its members focus on Reconstruction's work and how they are addressing violence -as well as other issues-of the communities.

Blogtalk Radio Shedding Light was initiated to expose injustices in the Communities, Prisons, Government and beyond. People have and continue, to suffer as a result of wrongful convictions, victims turned offenders, offenders and community members who were, or are having their Civil Rights' violated. We have serious problems in the Country, resulting in violence, around racism, hate crimes, social conflicts involving the poor and middle-class, verses the wealthy and powerful.  So, without hesitation,  let's once again, welcome our Guest,  Hakim Ali.
