Hello everyone, I am Leonna Abraham Brandao, Host for Blog Talk Radio/ Shedding Light.

Please join us, call in, and/or just listen in, as we discuss the inappropriate and harsh  treatment and sentencing of the incarcerated individuals in U.S. Prisons. Why are prisoners forced to double-cell when receivng life/LWOP Sentences. Caged like animals and forced to share a small cell with another lifer, when in fact, they should have their own little cubby hole, if they must spend a life behind inhumane prison walls. In addition, why are there more than 2.3 million Americans, the highest incarceration rate in the world with New Hampshire and Maine, ranking in the top three for safety. Today we will examine the causes of crime, the factors leading to many wrongfully convicted, many first-time offenders, victims who became offenders, profits made from incarcerations,by Corporations and DOC's nationwide and much more.....
