Shriekfest Radio! Denise Gossett interviews Director, Writer, Ryan Schaddelee!

Ryan Schaddelee was born and raised in Michigan, where he developed his artistic ability in special make-up and fx due to his love of all things horror, science fiction and fantasy.  He graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a degree in film directing in 1999, pursuing a different path after believing computer generated effects would take over the industry of practical effects.  FX and make-up were always a part of his personal projects throughout the years though, and he practiced it more as a hobby until offered a job as the lead fx artist on a horror feature in 2010.  Since then he has worked steadily as a director on numerous shorts and music videos and as an FX artist on various projects  including the recently released “I Am Not a Serial Killer” starring Christopher Lloyd and Max Records, and the “From Dusk Til Dawn” Netflix series.
