Kayla Stuhr is a formally trained artist and animator turned horror film writer and producer. She received her BA in Animation from the Edinburgh College of Art/Edinburgh University in Scotland in 2014. In 2015 she relocated to North Carolina to be closer to family and the film industry, and was soon invited to join the team at 4 Leagues Media: an award-winning independent film production company located in Greensboro. Kayla’s contributions have included writing, producing, editing, art department, and even the odd acting role. She has also become the youngest and first female partner in the company since it was founded. She has co-developed and worked on many award-winning shorts, 2 of which have screened at SHRIEKFEST (Tethered, 2017, and Psycho Path, 2019), and is now co-producing her first horror feature film to be completed later this year.
