Buyer's Remorse~

We all have had the opportunity to regret a purchase. You look at a shiney new car, and your heart goes 'pitter-patter', you smell the leather seats, and look at the fancy touch screen info-tainment center, and you tell yourself you just have to take this car home. But the instant you drive it off the lot you know in your heart of hearts you have made a BIG mistake.

Regret can come from being given too much information too quickly, such that it disguises the critical information you need to make a good decision. The other thing that promotes buyers remorse is going into a sales situation (merchandise or ideas) not knowing what you need to know to understand the pitfalls and problems of a particular issue. The job of a good salesperson is to give the buyer just enough data to make the sale, and not enough for the buyer to know when they have been had. And often that very salesperson does not know all the details about the problems of what they are selling to be able to tell the customer what the problems will be with their purchse down the road.

We at Spirit of Truth Ministry have seen this situation regularly play out time and again in the spiritual sense. A 'believer' has been taught over a long period of time by another sincere believer that salvation is simply believing that Jesus dies for their sins, and all they must do to be saved is claim the 'blood of Jesus', that He died for their sins, and now they are saved.

What these people don't know, and often don't want to hear, is that down the road they will regret not knowing the truth of salvation that Jesus taught, that is different from what they were  taught in church, but by the time they have found out the truth it is too late.

Buyers Remorse in the physical world can be difficult, but regret in the spiritual world can by a tragedy. Learn Truth, No Regrets!
