Meet Author of Christian Fiction Darlene West W/ Host Natalie Sist

Darlene West was born in Queens, NY to Greek/ Canadian French parents. Having grown up between the East and the West coast in the family restaurant business she cultivated a love for creating and designing recipes as a hobby.

Education: Her childhood dreams of working for NASA were discouraged because she is a woman. Instead she was redirected. She obtained a Major in Botany. After urging and soul searching she accomplished earning a Bachelor's in English with a Minor in concentration of fiction and a Master's in adult education. From 6th grade on her teachers began using her stories as examples on how to write.

Career: Darlene is a retired corporate developer, program designer, evaluator, training needs assessor, and curriculum specialist.

Hobbies: Cooking, biking, fishing, camping, and gazing at the stars. She loves being a wife, mother, and especially a granny. But her walk with our Lord Jesus Christ is paramount in her life.
