Join WORDS-MAKE-PEOPLE on Sunday August 9, 2020 from 1-3 p.m. for a dynamic panel discussion on "Muslim American Police on George Floyd and Social Justice".

WORDS-MAKE-PEOPLE honors and respects all public servants. The dedication of service they render, especially those on the fornt line, saving life and property is to be commended. However, recently America has been forced to come face-to-face with cancerous elements -- who wear the same honorable uniforms and who swore to "serve and protect" and uphold the U.S. Constitution -- yet they too often disgrace our society.

Social Justice in Al-Islam is VERY BIG!. How do Muslim American women and men police deal with these situations? How does a George Floyd type of situation affect them as public servants? What Islamic support do they use to help them as public servants?

Join WORDS-MAKE-PEOPLE as we discuss these and other concerns (from these police officers and from you our listeners) about what it means to be a Muslim police officer during these socailly challenging times.
