For over 401 years, African Americans have had unique, peculiar, distinct, and ofttimes, cruel and inhumane experience in America.
We have been enslaved, beatened, raped and denied basic human rights... for 250 years many of our ancestors worked tediously without pay.

Even "free" African Americans had "no rights that a white man had to honor.", in both the North and South.                                                                After slavery, Black Americans continued to be oppressed for the next 100 years, under Jim Crow.

During the Civil Rights Movement of the 1950s and 1960s, legislation was passed to change the course of Black American life, yet, the spirit of racism, discrimination and economic and social bias continued, even until today.

Today we will be discussing what course of action that should be taken t improve the lives of our people.

Lest we forget, "Insanity is when you do the same thing over and over expecting a different result."
