The Failure of Government & Science During the Pandemic

A we enter into 2021, one thing is perfectly clear... both our government and many within our scientific community has failed the majority of the Americans during this pandemic.
These two arms of society have minimized, ignored or deliberately lied to the American people.

The President admitted that he knew of the severity and urgency created by the COVID-19, very early on, while publicly minimizing the real danger that the virus posed to every American.

Both Houses of Congress acted extremely slowly in helping the citizens and small business owners in this economic crisis that we are facing. While nations like Canada, England, Sweden, France, Australia and others, have been sending out thousands of dollars to its citizens, every month since last April; our government has only sent out a one-time stimulus check to eligible Americans of $1,200, since this past May... over six months ago. Just this past week, checks of a meager $600 are beginning to be sent out, for only a second time this year.
