On Weds. January 6, 2021, as a Joint Seesion of Congress was meeting in the Capitol in Washington, DC, to officially proclaim the winner of the 2020 Presidential and Vice-Presidential Election, a group of disappointed and angry Trump supporters, who had just come from a pro-Trump rally, not fa from where Congress was meeting, converged on the Capitol, climbing walls, breaking down doors and breaking windows throughout the halls of Congress. The Congressional meeting was naturally suspended, and our elected lawmakers either were escorted out of the building or escorted to safe locations... many actually hiding behind their desks. One of the protestors was actually shot and killed, as well as a law enforcement officer. Chaos reigned on Capitol Hill from early afternoon until the evening hours.

What went wrong and who are to blame for this fiasco?

Our discussion, this evening , will attempt to unravel that question as objectively as we can?
