Inauguration Day 2021: A New Day or Just Another Day?

Today, January 20th, 2021, a new President and Vice President were inaugurated. 
The Democrats now control the White House and Congress.
Many believe that a bright new day has begun for America. Somehow white supremacy, racism, and all other forms of bigotry and bias is a thing of the past.

Even Black Americans are celebrating this new administration with hope and great anticipation.

What we be discussing today is the reality of the situation.

Lest we forget, the Coronavirus continues to be a health issue, in this country and around the world. Racial, social and political tensions have not truly diminished in any real way, and though the sun seems to be rising in a positive way for some Americans, the prospect for a better day for others is not so obvious and, in fact, may not even happen.
