Vision For African America: Forging A Path to Self-Determination

We as African Americans must stop putting our hopes and aspirations in the hands of American politicians, whether Democrat or Republican or whether they are “Persons of Colors or white folk.

Our future depends on us, even though we have to still negotiate with and make demands on the power structures of this nation.

Reparations, significantly narrowing the wealth gap and improving the infrastructure in our communities, supporting and creating our own black-owned businesses, changing the unjust and biased judicial system in this nation, and provide educational opportunities, as well as Medicare for all must be our primary targets.

Our aim this evening is concentrate our discussion on seriously going over the most effective ways to  improve the lives of our collective community.
