When the Bush Administration invoked the second highest national security alert level to Code Orange, Jodie Evan and co-founders, launched CODEPINK. 

 Representing several million women around the globe, including Afghanstan and Iraq, CODEPINK is a women-initated grassroots peace and social justice movement working toward life-affirming activies to redirect national resources into health care, education, green jobs and to do it by  ending U.S. funded wars and occupations.
