Argentinean nun accused of kidnapping - what ever happened?

Sometimes, long standing friendships and relationships can take downward spirals that can affect us to our very core.

In one Florida case a Catholic nun was asked to take care of a child on a rather long term basis (for months at a time). With a notarized power of attorney, the nun traveled to her native Argentina to visit with relatives and took the child with her with the complete blessing of the child's parents.

That vacation would soon become a comedy of errors that read more like a Greek tragedy than a long term baby sitting assignment gone awry. The nun was accused of kidnapping and the accusation stuck. The case spiraled out of control and when the nun returned to the United States and landed in Miami, she was arrested and hauled off to jail.
