Iran's most powerful military commander, Gen Qasem Soleimani, was killed by a US air strike in Iraq on Jan. 2 2020.  Two years later, Iranian intelligence has tried to plan attacks on Israel, infiltrate intelligence of US bases in Iraq and hack other Western allies computer systems.

The 62-year-old spearheaded Iranian military operations in the Middle East as head of Iran's elite Quds Force.

He was killed at Baghdad airport, along with other Iran-backed militia figures, 9 in total in Baghdad near airport.

Mr Trump said at the time of the killing,  the general was "directly and indirectly responsible for the deaths of millions of people".

Soleimani's killing marks a major escalation in tensions between Washington and Tehran.

Under his leadership, Iran had bolstered Hezbollah in Lebanon and other pro-Iranian militant groups, expanded its military presence in Iraq and Syria and orchestrated Syria's offensive against rebel groups in the country's long civil war.  He also organized ISIS AND ISIL and it's attacks in Western Iraq and Syria during Syria's upheaval.

We had two guest callers, including a racist from South Carolina who has called our show before and slandered the hosts including the N word being used.  Then we had an educational caller named Hotap from NY, who has called the show many times.  We discussed the formation of the League of Nation and intent of the modern UN and how places like Sweden and German handled the large influx of modern immigrants from Syria, Ethiopia and other places.
