The show, which made its national debut from Los Angeles on Nov. 7, tackles the major issues of the day and features provocative commentary from an African-American perspective.

For this week's show:
 

• He will bring his listeners insight into the two conflicting worlds of African-American college athletes at big schools like Penn State, where the reality is they feel isolated from other students and racially isolated in general.


• Also, he and an Atlanta-based sports agent will dive into the debate over whether athletes deserve the pricey contracts that professional teams give their players.


• In addition, listeners will hear from a Honolulu-based financial adviser, who directs NBA players from buzz saws that wealth and fame can attract, such as poor investment advice and gold-digging women.

This week's Dan Hardy Show will also offer a few surprise sports topics.
