Talk 2 me Sports Radio with Daniel Hardy

Los Angeles (Jan. 14, 2014) -- Sports-talk radio host Dan Hardy will offer an inside look at the challenges facing James Franklin, the new football coach at Penn State, during his thought-provoking one-hour show Thursday.

As the first African-American head coach in Penn State history, Franklin fills the void created by Bill O'Brien's departure for the Houston Texans in the NFL, and is the university's second coach in as many years since the NCAA imposed unprecedented sanctions on the football program in the aftermath of the child sex-abuse scandal involving former assistant coach Jerry Sandusky.

The other hot topic for this week's show centers on whether the media is downplaying Serena Williams as talk turns to whether she is one of the greatest male or female athletes ever.

Williams, who turned in her finest women's tennis season in years, has won the Associated Press' 2013 Female Athlete of the Year for the third time since 2002. Only two women have been chosen more often.
