LOS ANGELES (March. 4th, 2014) -- Sports-talk radio host Dan Hardy will spotlight using the "N" word during his hour-long show. A panel of generations will weigh in on this controversial subject.

Because Jay-Z and the likes have used the word as a term of endearment, does it make it ok for other cultures to adopt? Is it ok for the younger Black generation to take a word that initially stood for hate and turn it into love?

The show will offer insight into the latest SWAC conference investigation. Last season, only seven teams played in the SWAC tournament as three teams were ineligible for the NCAA tournament due to APR penalties. The ineligible teams this year include: Southern, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Mississippi Valley State and Grambling. Experts will discuss if Black conferences lack the academic (tutors) support that predominately white schools have at their disposal or is it just a case of lack of priorities?

In addition, the show will debate a list of the greatest female athletes of the 20th century; an era whose footprints include the mark of Jackie Joyner-Kersee, who won three gold, one silver and two bronze medals over four consecutive Olympic Games.

Tune in and be part of the conversation Thursday on the "Dan Hardy Show."
