Clear & Convincing - Episode 13 - Belmont Stakes Special w/Brad Hicks

Join Lisa O’Brien, Michael Carnahan and Talk Show 49 co-host Brad Hicks on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at 8:00 p.m. Central for Episode 13 of Clear & Convincing’s Belmont Stakes Special.  We’ll talk about the 151st Belmont Stakes, the 1-1/2 mile “test of champions,” which will be run on Saturday, June 8, 2019.   We’ll talk about the history of the track at Elmont, New York, the evolution of the Triple Crown races and learn about the types of horse racing held at tracks across the U.S.  We’ll also discuss the field of horses, their trainers and jockeys, post positions and we’ll make some predictions about the race.  There may not be a Triple Crown title on the line this year, but as we’ve seen with the Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes, 2019 has still proved to be an exciting and memorable year in horse racing.
