She is the co-editor, with Bernard Ross, of the 2015 AFP/Skystone Ryan Partners Award in Research Winner Global Fundraising: How the World is Changing the Rules of Philanthropy (AFP/Wiley 2013) and author of Nonprofit Consulting Essentials: What Nonprofits and Consultants Need to Know (Jossey-Bass 2010).  Penelope is an associate professor in the Nonprofit Management Institute at Arizona State University. She serves on the board of AFP International and chairs its International Development Committee. She speaks frequently on nonprofit management topics around the world.
