Andre Ward vs. Sergey Kovalev, "Coward" Ward No Shows HBO Face Off?

There’s more drama for the biggest rematch of the year, Andre Ward vs. Sergey Kovalev. Ward allegedly ditched the scheduled taping of HBO’s Face Off for unknown reasons. According to Main Events and Yahoo Sports reporter, Chris Mannix, Ward gave no heads up to him not going to the taping of the show. RingTV reported an unnamed source in Ward’s camp that alleged it was Kovalev who no-showed.

What truly happened, and will this adversely effect the promotion/buyrate for this big fight?
