Alderwoman Robin Rue Simmons passed a 2019 Bill in Evanston to give African Americans $10 million dollar in Reparations.

Illinois State Rep. LaShawn K. Ford is sponsoring a Bill H.B. 4954 to put 3 Commemorative Days of Respect on the School Calendar to visually affirm the 3 key Principles of the American Civil Rights Renaissance of the 1960's; that period of time, from 1954 to 1965, called the Movement from the Jim Crow/genocide Survivors Standpoint.
