A Gathering for the Body, Mind & Spirit...sharing Native American Spirituality, multi-Cultural arts, music, storytelling and friendship. Bringing the walls down... to find the common ground of the People!
PhotobucketRobert “RedHawk” Eldridge I am a Native American Indian of Cherokee and Sappony decent and an enrolled member of the Sappony Indians of North Carolina and Virginia. Born in Richmond, Virginia in 1957, I spent all of my youth in Gastonia, North Carolina after my family moved there when he was 2 years old. I have a younger brother and sister both of whom are married with grown children of their own. Over the last 25 years, I have honed my skills as a storyteller and living historian presenting the history of the Overhill Cherokee Indians of East Tennessee and North Georgia from the late 1700's through the Removal (Trail of Tears). My character is a successful half English, half Cherokee, man who has grown up in the Cherokee way, fought under Lt. Sam Houston at the battle of Horseshoe Bend and then settling with my Scottish wife in Spring Place Georgia. blessings, bear, Raventalker, and Christy
