Join Donald Blackfox tonight with his guests; Ryan "Little Eagle" Molina, a young Lakota/Apache mix blood from the Hill Country of Texas. At the age of one he was given the Lakota name Wamblila (Little Eagle). He has spent most of his early life in San Antonio where he was able to learn the ways of his ancestors from his Grandmother. At sixteen, he met a Hidatsa Elder that went by the name Mato. From there Ryan started to get involved in the local Powwows. At the Powwow in Bandera, Texas, he picked up a Harjo cane flute. He played this flute as if he had been playing for years. Ryan has learned how to be a part of his culture and to be proud of it! Singer songwriter and Spirit Wind Records recording artist Duane Deemer `Wind Horse` stops in at the cafe . Known in and around Nashville as the "Choctaw Cowboy and Wind Horse," Duane is very proud to announce the release of his new Native American spiritual album "Wind Horse" and is honored to share his music with the people. After spending his life honoring his families Choctaw and Cherokee heritage, Duane released his new album of all spiritual Native American music. The album entitled Wind Horse, after his given native name, with 15 self penned songs, most with traditional native drums, percussion, flutes and vocal ‘chant`. Duane was joined on the CD by numerous award winning Native American artists and was blessed to have 2 songs , All My Relations and Sacred Way from his Wind Horse CD nominated for spiritual song of the year at the 2011 ISMA awards and All My Relations was nominated for song single of the year at the 2011 NAMMY Awards.
