TheDavidBowersAwards presents One Ugly Cowboy and Poppa Foster & the Grits

One Ugly Cowboy is an explosive Canadian Country-Rock band with a powerhouse vocalist and an attitude!  Jane Sowerby is a dynamic vocalist who leads One Ugly Cowboy in a near-perfect meshing of Rock and Country, with influences from blues and other genres.  With a raucous disrespect for classification, they’ll rock your socks off and make you love it.

Poppa Foster & The Grits come out of Tulsa, Oklahoma with roots deeply in New Orleans.  Their music is a delightful mix of Jazz with a healthy injection of Zydeco that rocks!  Chris Foster is a Tulsa music scene veteran who doesn’t hide his love for jazz and purposely fuses it into the band’s music while also injecting it with a healthy dose of blues and roots rock with a touch of brass.
