March is Women's History Month and Women in Aviation. My interview today is truly a history making hour!  On February 2017  Stephanie Johnson  became the first African American female Captain for Delta Air Lines ! Also in the cockpit was  First Officer Dawn Cook- another African American female.  The duo made the history making flight from Detroit to Las Vegas. If you have a student from 8th -12 th grade,  that shows an interest in aviation please log on to the OBAP- Organization of Black Aerospace Professionials link to learn about the aviation camps that are offered in many cities to educaton and encourage students to pursue careers in aviation.  The link is  www.OBAP.org , click on Project Aerospace to read the information and schedule for these aviation events.  This could be life changing for our young African American students, please make plans to attend these invaluable programs- pass the word!
