This installment of The Forbidden Fruit will look at yet another incident of questionable police behavior. At about 4:30 p.m. on July 10, Sandra Bland was driving a silver Hyundai Azera south through Waller County on FM 1098, near Prairie View A&M, when a state trooper, Brian Encinia, pulled her over for what he said was a failure to signal a lane change. A lane change...did you get that? He got behind her so she gave him the lane and the right of way. She was just trying to get of his way. You have to see the video to be evem more outraged at this crap. Of course the way the story ends, she was arrested like she stole something and carted off to jail. The sad end to this story, she is found dead in her jail cell 3 days later. Did you catch that? She was in jail for three days behind a failure to signal a lane change. WTF? Anyway, this is what today's show is about. Please call in if you have an opinion on this sad chain of events.
