Good morning, today on The Meter we will cover health in the 2016 Presidential race. Last Sunday during the remembrance of the 15th anniversary of the Septemeber 11th terrorist attacks, democratic nominee Hillary Clinton left abruptly and was seen collapsing as her motorcade arrived. Later citing "non-contagious bacterial pneumonia" that was diagnosis end the previous Friday. After several coughing episodes on the trial, Hillary's health has now been called into question. In response, Hillary Clinton's doctor has released a statement that the democrat party nominee has a clean bill of health. Donald Trump has also released his medical report also stating he is in perfect health. How important is the health of a president noting that the job is easily 16 hours a day 7 days a week? Also, Hillary Clinton is under fire for calling half of Trump supporters "deplorables". Trump immediately criticized Clinton's remarks as pure insulting. Erasing a double digit deficit in the polls from Mid-August, Donald Trump is now tied with Hillary Clinton nationally and has pulled ahead in key battleground states. Bernie Sanders, Al Gore, Joe Binden, and President Obama have hit the trail in support of Hillary after her drop in the polls. Donald Trump made a statement claiming Barack Obama was born in the United States, what he calls a finality of the so called "birther" issue. As we went to broadcast 2 attacks in New York and Saint Paul, Minnesota once again has put terrorism on the front page of the campaign. Donald Trump immediately called th attacks terrorism while Clinton was more reserved. Who has the right strategy to combat terrorism? Please join the discussion at 9 AM.
