Assassination Attempt on Republicans

Good morning, today on The Meter we will cover the attempted assassination of Republican law makers during a charity baseball practice in Alexandria, VA . 3 were wounded in the attack including Rep. Steve Scalise, the House majority Whip. Capital Police retuned fire killing the shooter. Is this the result of the hateful rhetoric directed at President Trump and republicans by prominent democrats, Hollywood elites, and college professors or was it just a deranged gunman? The shooter, James Hodgkinson had a hit list of Republicans and was a Bernie Sanders volunteer, as well as a member of Occupy Wall Street, and an avid support of left wing radio and TV programs. In other news, police officer, Jeronimo Yanez, was acquitted in the killing of a black motorist, Philando Castile after 5 days of deliberations. Castile's girlfriend had broadcasted the immediate aftermath of the shooting live on Facebook showing Castile's blooded body. Protests instantaneously ensued.
