Good morning, today on The Meter, we will cover the violent clashes in Charlottesville, VA that resulted in the deaths of one woman and two Virginia State Troopers. So Called "White Nationalists" held a protest against the removal of statues of Confederate war heros that was met with a counter protest. Violence erupted and a woman was killed when a protestor intentionally rammed his car through a crowd of counter-protestors. Two state troopers were killed when their helicopter crashed while monitoring the protets. Virginia Governor, Terry Mcauliffe delclared a state of emergency telling the White Nationalists to go home while President Trump condemned the violence on both sides. Is this a prologue to a coming culture war in America. Also, tensions with North Korea are rising as President Trump threatened "fire and fury" on the rogue state. Democrats were quick to condemn Trump's words. The North Korea leader Kim Jung Un has threatened to attack Guam. Is a nuclear exchange more likely than ever? Please join the discussion at 10:00 AM.
