Good morning, today on The Meter we will cover President Trump's criticism of NFL players  that protest the National Anthem. In a rally in Alabama, the Presient said that NFL owners  should fire the protesting players referring to them as son of a bitches. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell fired back at Trump as did many players speculating that there could be widespread protests today on the sidelines. During the presidential transition, Donald Trump said that the outgoing Obama administration wire tapped Trump Tower and placed surveillance on many on his transition team. That claim was discounted by many in the mainstream press, but now it seems that surveillance may have occurred. Samantha Power, Obama's Ambassador to the United Nations, unmasked members of the Trump campaign and transition team at a rate of one per day. Susan Rice, Obama's national security advisor was also unmasking Trump officials. All this after everyone in the Obama administration denied such allegations. President Trum in his first address to the United Nations called out member states for not paying their fair share and called North Korea's dictator Rocket Man and threatened to "Destroy" North Korea.
