John McCain had a reputation as a Maverick in the US Senate often siding against his fellow Republicans with the most recent example being The Affordable Care Act. McCain spent his life serving The United States from a Navy Pilot in Vietnam to The US House of Representsitces, US Senate, and Republican nominee for President in 2008, losing to Barack Obama. Senator McCain was 81.
