Good morning, today on The Meter, we will cover the House of Representatives vote to impeach President Donald Trump. 2 Articles of Impeachment passed the House, Abuse of Power and Obstruction of Congress. The vote got 0 Republican votes while 3 Democrats voted against, and Presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard voted Present. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has yet to send the Articles to the Senate. Jeff Van Drew has switched from the Democrat to Republican Party over the impeachment. Was this a spiteful act or justified? Criticism of the FBI is continuing to intensify as the investigation into the investigators has revealed serious violations in the surveillance of Carter Page. Page's undercover status with the CIA was obmitted by the FBI when the FISA warrants were requested. Also, the Steele Dossier that was paramount in the surveillance of Trump's campaign, transition, and Presidency was filled with inconsistencies. Steele's primary source told investigators that Steele was not truthful in his report. Should the FBI and the FISA courts be overhauled? The day after the impeachment vote the Dow Jones hit another all time high. There have been more than 135 records under President Trump. Does this prove the impeachment is indeed insignificant? The House passed Keynote legislation of President Trump. The USMCA was passed by the House with 385 yays. The bill now goes to the Senate. Is President Trump still winning against the Democrats despite the impeachment vote? Also, the Democrats held another presidential debate this week highlighted by an exchange between Buttigieg and Warren. Warren attacked the gay Southbend Mayor for holding a fundraiser at an exclusive winery. Is Warren being hypocritical? Please join the discussion at 10AM. The call in number is 347-308-8933.
