Good morning, today on The Meter, we will discuss the continuing havoc from Covid-19. The US death toll is now over 50,000 and the number of infections has topped 800,000. In spite of the numbers, States are beginning to reopen some businesses. Also, across the nation protesters are taking to the streets demanding an end to the lockdowns and quarantines. In over a dozen states tens of thousands of American citizens expressed their disdain. Is it time to reopen America? President Trump is under fire for seemingly suggesting that an ingestible disinfectant could combat the Virus. The President said he made a sarcastic remark. Is President Trump causing confusion about Covid-19? The House passed a $484 billion assistance package for small businesses struggling because of the shutdowns. The money is designed to keep businesses afloat until the virus passes. Is the package necessary? Presumptive Democratic Party nominee Joe Biden is accused of another sexual assault. This one dates back to the 1990's when the victims' Mother was on Larry King Live explaining the attack. Where is the Me Too Movement and the We Believe Survivors crowd?
