Good morning, today on The Meter, we will discuss President Trump issuing an executive order to protect historic monuments on Federal property. This week in Lafayette Park, protesters attempted to pull down a Statue of Andrew Jackson. The defacers retreated when police showed up in force. Who is right on the monuments? Also, a Federal Court orders the Michael Flynn case dismissed over the objection of the hold-out judge. Democrats are still clinging to Flynn's guilty plea. Should the case be dismissed? Minneapolis City Counsel votes to dismantle police department but has spent tens of thousands of tax payer dollars for private security for themselves. Minneapolis once had one of the highest murder rates in the country. If police departments are dismantled, will crime rates rise while the well-to-do hire private security. As States are reopening, there is a resurgence of Covid-19 cases. President Trump has been pushing the reopenings while Democrats are still cautioning. Is America ready to end the closings and social distancing? Please join the discussion at 10AM. The call in number is 347-308-8933. Your input is essential!
