Harris formerly served as the top prosecutor in San Francisco and California before being elected to the US Senate in 2016. She also ran for President this year but dropped out before the voting began. Harris made headlines in the debate in a confortation with Biden over his opposition to forced bussing while Kamala Harris was a little girl. Harris has made history by becoming the first woman of color to be on a major party ticket. Will Biden's choice help his campaign? Also, a historic peace agreement was concluded between Israel and the UAE. The 2 nations agreed to official recognition and formal relations. The deal is the first since 1994 and the first ever agreement between Israel and a Gulf State. How will this impact the November elections? With the push for mail in voting, the US Postal Service is demanding $25 Billion in funding. President Trump is a vocal opponent of mail-in voting and Democrats are accusing him of sabotaging the system by refusing funding. Can mail in voting be fair? In the Durham Probe, a FBI lawyer appointed by Barack Obama, Kevin Clinesmith, has plead guilty to falsifying documents to obtain a FISA warrant to wire tap Carter Page in the Russia investigation.
