Good morning, today we will cover the verdict in the Derek Chauvin murder trial. The ex-cop was convicted on all 3 counts and faces upto 75 years in prison. The sentencing phase will be in June. Most legal analysts were not surprised by the jury's decision. Some statements by Joe Biden and Maxine Waters have some concerned that Chauvin might have grounds for a retrial. How do you feel about the case? Also, another police involved shooting has caught the nation's eye. In Cincinnati a 16 year old Black girl was killed by an officer while trying to stab another teen with a kitchen knife. The 911call was released and revealed a frantic plea by a young girl saying the deceased was attacking her grandmother. Many in the media including Joy Behar and Joy Reid said that knife fights aren't bad. Was the officer justified in his actions? In Chicago, a 7 year old girl, Jaslyn Adams was murdered while at a McDonald's drive thru while with her Father who was shot multiply but survived. The gang banging suspect is now in custody after an attempted carjacking and shootout with police. Jaslyn will get no press conference, high profile lawyer, or a settlement in the millions! Is this problem, that's all to common in Urban Areas, being ignored. Please join the discussion at 10:00 AM. The call-in number is 347-308-8933. Your input is essential!
