Good morning!! Today, on The Meter, we will cover the developing Biden family business scandals around the globe. The White House changed the official story this week from Joe Biden never discussing his son's overseas business deals to Joe Biden and Hunter Biden are not in business together. WH press secretary Jean Marie Pierre refused any further comments or explanations on the rhetorical change. This comes just as Devon Archer, Hunter's business partner, is scheduled to testify before Congress tomorrow. Rand Paul is now talking about the impeachment of Joe Biden. How will the developments affect Biden's 2024 campaign and governing responsibilities? Also, Jack Smith has added 3 additional charges against Donald Trump on the document case. Ironically announced just hours after more details emerged about the closeness of the Biden's business deals. The charges are 2 counts of obstruction and one more concealing classified documents. Trump spoke in Iowa and in Erie, PA, renouncing the Smith case and vowed to continue his campaign for 2024, no matter what. Are these charges justified or an extension of the "witch hunt"? In Florida, as Ron DeSantis' presidential run seems to be floundering, the statewide school curriculum about slavery has become national news. Kamala Harris attacked the teachings as inaccurate and racist. DeSantis fired back at the critics claiming it's the left that rewrites history with a liberal slant. However, Dr. William Allen, a former chairman of the commission on Civil Right, a Black man, who co-authored the classes unloaded on Harris and the teachers' unions by backing up true history against the lies of the detractors. Does this curriculum set the wrong standards for African American youth? Please join the discussion at 10AM. The call-in number is 347-308-8933. Your input is essential.
