This week The Middle Men will discuss fraternities, sororities, and the myth of hazing. Hazing has been associated with collegiate organizations and secret societies for as long as they have been in existence. Stories told of frying pans and bare feet and broken glass have become legend. In the lawsuit friendly times of today a few questions arise with the subject of fraternities. What is the true definition of hazing? Should open pledging be allowed once again? Do black fraternities and sororities get a worse reputation for hazing than their white counterparts?
