You Can Make It Broadcast: New 6 part series on "The Duties of a Father"

The reason it takes a village to raise a child is because one set of parents do not have all the parental teachings to pass down to their child/children. When a village is involved, you have a collaborated group raising a child together. More deposits are placed within the child, and more focus and guidelines are hedged around the child.

Part 1:

1. To Teach (Deut. 6:5)
   • There are 3 "must" in this verse.
     1. Love
     2. Commit
     3. Talk

   There are many things we, as a child, and as parent, wish we were taught. These missing things were also missed in the next generation. Now this generation blames the parents for their current dispostion without taking any self-responsbility. Our explanations of truth, if we are transparent before our children, are preceived as excuses. Neverthless, as long as we have breath, and grow in the Spirit of the Lord. It is our responsibilty to teach, even if we were haphazard in the beginning stages of parenting.
